Caren has worked alongside Physiotherapists at the National Institute of Circus Arts Australia NICA, the Australian Football League Academy and has been tremendously benefited working with Hands on Health Australia’s global health volunteer exchange program at Jagran Jan Vikas Samiti, Rajasthan India. The extreme weather conditions and isolation of many of the marginalized people living in the region, presented with challenging musculoskeletal health conditions requiring therapists to draw on all of their empathetic reserves to do the very best for every individual patient they were honored to treat. Caren believes the experience was a chance of a lifetime to give back to humanity a small part of what she has been able to experience.
Caren has been a competitive cyclist and as a result, was introduced to Myotherapy when dealing with injuries to maintain her musculoskeletal health. Caren is interested in biomechanics and moving well, to prevent dysfunction and enjoys working with people and treating muscular imbalances with corrective exercises. Caren is an advocate of achieving optimal ranges of motion with a vision to reduce musculoskeletal pain conditions and is skilled in neurodynamic release to reduce neural weakness, tingling, and associated pain conditions.
In her spare time, you will find Caren in the gym working on her strength training and body balance and enjoys reading Janet Evanovich novels.
